Welcome: This Will Be Special
We are so excited to invite you to celebrate our wedding party in Santiago, Chile – a city framed by the Andes, incredible food and wine, and some of the most beautiful sunsets you'll ever see.
This won't just be a wedding day, it's a mini‑adventure in South America with people we love, finally joining our life together abroad with where Kata comes from. Think time to explore the city, enjoy parks and views, and make a holiday of it before and/or after our big day.
The Venue
The wedding venue captured our hearts from the moment we saw it – a modern glass‑and‑wood space surrounded by terraces, plazas and 600 hectares of nature in the Quebrada de Macul reserve. You'll arrive for sunset over Santiago and the Andes, then settle in for great food, music and a long, relaxed night together. Arrivals from 5 pm, ceremony at 5:30 pm, and then we celebrate to 2am, Chilean style.
Centro Eventos Botanico
A modern glass-and-wood event space designed by Chilean architect Mathias Klotz, surrounded by terraces and 600 hectares of nature in the Quebrada de Macul reserve. At the edge of a protected natural area in Santiago with panoramic views of the city and the Andes - Kata's dream growing up!

The Vibe
Lush, green, open-air feeling with sunset views, great food and music - dress to feel fabulous but able to dance and move around the gardens and terraces.

When to Arrive
We’ll arrive in Santiago from London on 30 March 2026, so we’ll be around a few days before the wedding to see you, help with logistics and enjoy some pre‑wedding drinks and activities.
We recommend guests aim to arrive at least a couple of days before the wedding (ideally 31 March or earlier) to shake off jet lag and leave a buffer for any travel delays.
Travelling with Kids?
Santiago – especially the Parque Araucano / Las Condes area – works brilliantly for kids, with big green spaces, playgrounds and easy food options. On the wedding day itself there will be a teepee area away from the main party with qualified bilingual carers for a “half sleepover”, so little ones can be close by, safe and entertained while you enjoy the night. If you’d prefer a nanny at your hotel or Airbnb, let us know – there’s a great local agency we can recommend.
What to Wear
Wear whatever you’ll feel great in when you see the photos in ten years’ time. We’ll be in a white dress and a tux, so err on the dressy side rather than casual – but truly, we just want you to feel like your best self.
Make a Holiday of It
We’d love you to make a holiday of this trip. Around the wedding we’re planning informal group days you can join – likely vineyard, coast or mountain adventures within 1–2 hours of Santiago.

Still Deciding?
We know this isn’t a quick hop – it’s a big, grown‑up trip in terms of time and money, which is exactly why we’re planning it so you can squeeze the most out of every hour and every pound/dollar.
Instead of another “nice but forgettable” week somewhere close, this is a chance to see friends and family from around the world in one place, explore a country of deserts, vineyards, mountains and Pacific coast, and tie a long‑haul flight to something deeply personal and memorable.
If you were ever going to come to South America, this is the moment to make it count – with built‑in logistics, ready‑made company and a celebration at the heart of it. So… are you in?
